REBEL VERSES is the first youth-based theater festival of its kind. Heading into our 10th year, the festival provides a unique opportunity for young artists to write, act, direct and produce theatrical work. Culminating in a two-week run that showcases various youth organizations, young and emerging artists, the repertory format of the festival offers a rare chance for fellow artists to view each others performance and network with their peers. Connecting all the diverse youth organization around the metropolitan area is a major component of Rebel Verses.

MISSION
Developing Artists Theater Company (DATCO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing 8 – 19 year olds from culturally diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the performing arts. Our young artists are encouraged to explore self-expression, empower their creative voice and instill professionalism. DATCO’s classes, outreach programs and original productions maintain a focus on the collaborative process of theater that promotes ensemble work and multi-disciplinary growth. We strive to create a safe and supportive home where working professionals guide and assist young artists in finding the tools necessary to succeed as working actors, writers and production technicians in the theater community.
